Google Reader is a great way to keep track of blogs that you want to follow. It's much easier & effective than visiting each blog individually; & once you've listed them you don't have to remember the urls, nor use a search engine which could give you multiple listings. The RSS feature is one that I will need to research and play with some more.
Google Docs is fairly user friendly & will be great for collaborations. I collaborated on a fun, stress-relieving document with Christy Wyatt where we used pictures & a funny dialogue. The real-time interaction was amazing. I can see students creating group presentations through Google docs; collaborating on a project or assignment; and teaching each other through active participation. Then using Google Reader to follow a favorite website or blog.
