Basically, I see a PLN as a community of learners or team of professionals, fueled by the power of the internet. The talent and expertise, & thereby potential for success, of a PLN is as limitless as the internet itself. Effective communication--i.e. comments--are the driving force of any PLN. Meaningful and relevant comments, along with effective strategies such as asking questions & interacting with posts & comments, are important to encouraging & energizing any conversation within the PLN; as well as to keep information flowing. I applaud our PLN for I know firsthand the talent and expertise that is contained within it. Our students will most certainly reap the benefits of a 21st century team of professionals.
